60th Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Life Members of Shri Dakshin Delhi Gujarati “Mandal” (SDDGM) will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi at 5 PM to transact the following business:

Ordinary Business:

1. To consider and adopt the Annual Report (2022-23)  and, in this regard, if thought fit, to pass the following resolutions as Ordinary Resolution:

   • “Resolved that” the Annual Report (2022-23) of the Mandal, as circulated to the Members, be and are hereby considered and adopted.

2. • “Resolved that” the audited financial statement of the Mandal for the financial year ended March 31, 2022 and the reports of the Auditors thereon, as circulated to the Members, be and are hereby considered and adopted.

     – To consider and adopt the Audited Financial Statements for the financial year ending March 31, 2023 and, in this regard, if thought fit, to pass the following resolutions as Ordinary Resolution:

    

3. To discuss and consider the scheduling of the upcoming Annual Programs.

4. To elect the Executive Committee for the year 2023-2025 for the following posts:

   • President – One

   • Vice President – Two (One of whom will be woman)

   • Secretary – One

   • Joint Secretary – Two (One of whom will be woman)

   • Treasurer – One

   • Executive Committee Members – 12

5. To consider and approve the increase in the life time fess of the Life Member and consequently amendment in Clause-2, Sub-Clause (b) of the Bye-Laws of the Mandal.

6. To consider and approve the amendment in the Clause-5(Funds) to substitute the

   existing para- II with the following paragraph:

   • “II. The amount collected from patron life members and all campus Donation shall form part of Corpus Fund of Mandal and shall be kept invested and shall not be utilized/encashed except in case of acquisition of any immovable property for the use of Mandal and/or for reinvestment in deposits; provided that the investment of surplus fund shall be in accordance with the provision of Section 11(5) of Income Tax Act, 1961.”

7. To consider any other matter with the permission of the President.
